Chelsea partied the night away after conquering Europe for the second time following their 1-0 Champions League final victory over Manchester City.

Thomas Tuchel’s men put in a heroic display to thwart Pep Guardiola’s men in Porto and were delirious in Portugual after lifting the iconic trophy to ensure their turbulent season ended with silverware.

Kai Havertz scored the only goal of the game – rounding City keeper Ederson to easily slot home after an inch perfect pass from Mason Mount, with the Premier League champions unable to find a way past the stubborn Londoners.

And the Blues wasted no time in getting the celebrations up and running – led by Kurt Zouma and Olivier Giroud, who was seen swigging back a bottle of bubbly in the dressing room.

The French forward looked in high spirits as he was filmed enjoying himself by team-mate Tammy Abraham, and centre-back Zouma busted out some dance moves alongside back-up goalkeeper Willy Caballero.

Abraham – despite not even making the squad for the game – channelled his inner John Terry as he put on his full Chelsea kit to mark the celebrations.

Zouma was quickly joined by Giroud and midfielder Jorginho as Andreas Christensen appeared with the giant European crown – music blaring in the background.

And it wasn’t long before their boss Tuchel got involved as he entered the dressing room carrying a bottle of champagne – shaking it vigorously before spraying his entire squad with booze.

The German boss then huddled together with his victorious players and bizarrely took off his shoe and hoisted it up into the air as the squad chanted and cheered the former PSG coach.

But it wasn’t just Chelsea players in high spirits – the wife of Chelsea defender Thiago Silva also got involved in celebrations as she charged her way down to the pitch to savour the occasion with her husband.

Isabelle screamed: ‘We’re here and we’re champions!’ before swearing in Portuguese, to which her husband tells her ‘Don’t swear’.

She responds: ‘Ahhh! Let me swear!’ before she is later seen running around the turf at the Estadio do Dragao screaming at the top of her voice.

Around 12,000 fans were in attendance for the all-English final in Porto and roughly half of that number stayed inside the stadium despite a 10:30pm curfew in the city, as supporters sought to join in with the scenes.

It was a wonderful moment for the likes of Mason Mount – celebrating his first career trophy and on the world’s biggest stage – while club captain Cesar Azpilicueta was able to get his hands on Europe’s grand prize having joined in 2012 – months after the team last won the trophy.

Also able to toast the occasion was Chelsea’s billionaire owner Roman Abramovich – who flew out to Portugal to watch the game and was seen embracing a group of players as they went up to collect their medals.

The Russian has not been able to watch many games in the UK due to Visa issues but has always done his utmost to support the team at big finals – and was also seen during their Europa League final triumph over Arsenal in 2019.

Understandably, the mood among the Chelsea squad was high – and goalscoring hero Havertz even swore on live TV after being asked about his price tag having joined for £89m price tag.

Interviewer Des Kelly had asked the German if he felt he’d now repaid a big chunk of his hefty transfer fee.

A smiling Havertz replied: ‘To be honest I don’t give a f*** about it, we won the f****** Champions League.’

He was promptly embraced by the giggling Cesar Azpilicueta as Kelly was forced to apologise for the ‘fruity’ language broadcast live to millions watching at home.
