Borussia Dortmund forward Haaland is one of the most in-demand players across Europe and has a £65m release clause which becomes active next summer.

Goater insists he would talk to Erling Haaland ‘s father Alfie (L), an ex team-mate of his at City
‘If they need me to talk to Alf, I’ll do what I can,’ said the 51-year-old.
‘He’d be an exceptional buy as he’s young, his scoring record in Europe is phenomenal and I think he’d adjust to the Premier League easily.’
‘If you’re talking £65m, you are getting a real good deal. He played against City in the Champions League last season and his pace was frightening. Wow.
‘I hope City are strongly looking at him with Kane and Ronaldo in the past.’
Goater and Haaland were team-mates at Man City from 2000-2003, with the pair winning promotion to the Premiership in 2002 together.
Goater added that City should also go in for Kylian Mbappe, should he be available on a free
Goater added that City should also go in for Kylian Mbappe, if the Frenchman heavily linked with Real Madrid ends up being available on a free transfer in 2022.
‘If Real go for Mbappe, I’ll be saying, “OK City, put in your bid, put in your bid!'”!
Mbappe admitted this week that he wanted to leave PSG for Madrid in the summer – and the only club he would leave the Parisians for was the 13-time European champions.
