Juventus are reportedly set to hold talks with Paul Pogba after stepping up their pursuit to re-sign the Manchester United midfielder.
Pogba is expected to leave Old Trafford when his contract expires in the summer and a host of top European clubs, including Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain, are thought to be interested in securing his services.
The French star, who has endured a dismal season and has been booed and jeered by his own fans, spent four years at Juventus before moving back to United for a then world record fee of £89.3million.

Pogba is still remembered fondly in Turin and Goal reports Juve will discuss signing the player with his entourage next week.
A potential stumbling block to the 29-year-old returning to Juventus is his wage demands, believed to be around £9.3million a year on a four-year contract.
But the Serie ‘A’ giants are hoping to persuade Pogba to lower that figure to facilitate a move.

Juventus are likely to face competition from PSG to sign Pogba, while Sportsmail exclusively revealed earlier this month last week that United’s rivals were interested in signing the wantaway midfielder with the World Cup winner set to become a free agent in July.
Pogba then reportedly told City that he would choose a move elsewhere, because there is an offer on the table from a different club which he prefers.
Goal reported that Juventus have asked Pogba’s team to inform them of any other approaches they receive for his signature.

The Frenchman’s second spell at Old Trafford has not gone according to plan as he has often failed to deliver and struggled for consistency as the Red Devils’ problems since the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson in 2013 have deepened.
United have missed out in qualifying for the Champions League and could end up with the ignominy of a place in next season’s Europa Conference League.
Incoming manager Erik ten Hag is set to embark on a drastic overhaul of the squad, with Pogba, Edinson Cavani, Nemanja Matic and Juan Mata among those heading out of the exit door.
